We're visiting New Orleans soon and our tour meets in Jackson Square. We're going directly to the tour from the airport, assuming everything is on time. We'll have a rental car and need to know where we can park and walk to the Andrew Jackson Statue.

I was using Google Maps and thought it might be a paid lot at Decatur St & Toulouse St. Can anyone confirm that's an available lot?

We'll be pressed for time. Arrive at 8:20 a.m. and have to be at the tour by 10 a.m.

I would park in the public lots by the river behind the Jax Brewery or Cafe du Monde. It is a pay lot and it is secure. Easy walking distance to Jackson Square.
