This might be a little far off to ask but does anyone work in the environmental field in NOLA? I will be graduating with a degree in environmental science with a minor in land-use planning before moving down there soon. I plan to go to UNO to get my masters in a couple of years. Any recommendations of corporations or groups I can contact to get a good outlook on jobs or interviews? I've also been researching online and reaching out to my professors for suggestions but thought maybe you could offer a little more. I would like to work on something with green infrastructure/planning/conservation if that is any help! I am also interested in organic and local farming and eateries. Thanks!! Louisiana has the most generous solar incentives of any state- 50% of cost can be reimbursed via a state tax credit. So that would be a good place to start.
