Hi All! My hubby and I will be in NOLA this weekend to get on our 3rd anniversary cruise, and we would like to eat at a classic fine(r) dining restaurant on Friday. We have narrowed it down to a few places and would like a nice, fine dining location to dress up a bit. We went to Commander's Palace last year for our anniversary and LOVED it. We would go back there, but wanted to try something new. We don't want anything crazy expensive, but are willing to pay for great food and service. Which do you think would be best and why? Thanks!

1) Brennan's- I would be very open to this place, but the Owen Brennan's here in Memphis is not good. I would imagine this Brennan's is better...

2) K-Paul's

3) Muriel's on Jackson Square

4) Arnaud's

5) Emeril's New Orleans

Scratch K-Paul's and Emeril's.

Add Antoines to the list.

Galatoire's should also be a consideration.

We love Muriel's and Broussard's as well.

Cafe Amelie in the Fq is one of the most romantic restaurants in the city. Outdoor courtyard seating And amazing food. Although you would have to Make sure they're not closed for a rehearsal dinner or something
