Hi,
I will be moving to New Orleans this summer. I'm planning on buying a house that is livable but needs work, moving in and fixing it up, and selling for a profit after the work is complete. I've already done this on my house in Alaska, and it worked pretty well. I'm looking for neighborhoods that would have a large difference in price between a fixer-upper foreclosure and a move-in ready house. I'd prefer something close to the French Quarter, but I'm willing to consider going as far out as Slidell. Any advice?
