Classic. On a thread about regional stereotypes, looking for a regional stereotype.

Note: Stupid people (the person asking if NO is still flooded) have infiltrated all regions and walks of life in the US so it wouldn't be limited to one region.

People in the very same state still ask dumb questions like that. Folks right in Shreveport still think New Orleans is under water and suffers a hurricane every other month...

But seriously...Is it still under water?

Just kidding.

I live in Florida and still get asked about the '04 hurricanes. Maybe nothing that stupid...But close.

Lol, I wouldn't know if I would be insulted or amused if someone compared my accent to Bobby Bouchet.

I wasn't talking about Sandler, I was referring to this guy:
The Waterboy, Farmer Fran - YouTube
...I think you'd definitely be amused

I'm coming on a bike trip to NO from east TN and hope I see gators in the flooded streets lined by topless women speaking in accents so thick I can't understand them. I'm bring my banjo and still with me.
