Yeah I agree with you on this one. But when you say smaller projects what do you mean? Do you mean projects 20 stories and under, 10 stories and under etc..?

Projects from 1-story renovations all the way up to 20 story new construction.

Which does seem to be happening. Plus a ton of buildings are being renovated or have recently been renovated in the CBD/Warehouse District.

I know. I follow most of them and forget about all the smaller ones as they get lost in my brain. It's astonishing how quickly things are moving. I really want to get there before it becomes like Austin and they clean it up too much.

Yeah, I see that you post over on other forum sites occasionally. That's where I get most of my information on new developments. All of those littler projects in the CBD and Warehouse District are great and hopefully continue. Then hopefully in the future some taller skyscrapers will come along as well. But it would be good if some grit remains, it is a part of that New Orleans charm.

I think most of the CBD will be cleaned up, Poydras/Canal. I think I'll be much older before all the grit is gone, if it even goes anywhere.
