I have seen some websites having to do with CBD loft spaces for rent. Does anyone have any experience or general information about these, like a ballpark figure for rent (less than 800 sq ft is just fine) whether they are pet friendly, general thoughts about living in that area? I just wonder what people that actually live in the CBD have to say about it. Thanks :-)

Do you want an actual loft? I doubt they allow any pets at all and rent anywhere from $1200-$2500.

If you want an efficiency you can find those <$1200 in the CBD/Quarter/Warehouse District.

You'er looking at $1,500+ for a 1BR (~600-700 sq feet). Some are pet friendly but they'll have restrictions like 20 lbs etc.

Thanks guys I really am not sure at all that this is what I am looking for, but some of the pics I've seen are so enticing! I had a feeling they'd be as expensive as they are pretty. And anyhow, what I really want is a funky bohemian vibe like the marigny or bywater. Just checking into all of the many possibilities that make NOLA the beautiful gem that she is!
