Today is the Endymion parade...by far, the best parade of mardi gras season to me...I have vivid memories of that parade when I was a kid, now that im older and with kids of my own, I want them to experience the fun and culture of our city and to be proud of where they're from. Happy Endymion and Happy Mardi Gras everyone!

We just left Endymion a few hours ago. We got there late...need I say more?? We had a great time with the kiddos earlier at NOMTOC too. TBH, I've been drinking with friends and family since about noon so there may or may not have even been a parade, but I had fun...LOL!

Man we parked in the Hilton's parking garage and walked up to the barricade only to find out that we were in the area that was specifically for letting pedestrians through to the other side during breaks in the parade...plus this particular area was about 10 feet back from the street/parade. We'll never go late like that again. I know better now.
