Please help me I study cultural anthropology at the University of Amsterdam. For my final paper I am looking into how the HBO series Treme was accepted generally and particularly by New Orleanians. I am not really talking about your opinion on the quality of the show itself but more about your personal experience of the show. Is there anyone on this page that is from New Orleans and experienced Hurrincane Katrina that wouldn't mind answering some question? Did you find Treme realistic in portraying life and emotions in new orleans post-katrina? Could you relate to the story and characters? What did watching the series do for you? Did it help you process your experience of Hurricane Katrina? Did it bring back memories? Please do not feel obligated to answer, I completely understand if this is a difficult topic to talk about. If you would like to share your experience that would be much appreciated! Thank you!

Treme was pretty realistic. All of our relatives were affected... Some stayed. My day's side of the family all moved to mississppi after Katrina. Yes, we could relate to the characters.
