State calls for Charity Hospital redevelopment ideas

Since there is real money going into downtown atm, maybe something will happen for this building (hopefully). I say put Charity Hospital back in it!

They're building a billion dollar hospital 2 blocks away though.

This is exciting news. I would love to see a luxury high-rise condominium


with restaurants, full art gallery, and water spa on the ground floor. A section of the building should be blown out to incorporate a parking garage.


Definitely salvage the amphitheater in the basement:

...also throw in a nice rooftop terrace

With the developments going on along Canal, I don't doubt it might happen. People are putting a lot of money into the city.
