I was just thinking the same thing. Even seeing Orleenz in print puts my teeth on edge and makes me cringe. I think that's a pretty common reaction for natives; I wonder why that is?
It is commonly acknowledged that it is perfectly acceptable to hear the Orleenz pronounciation in a song, however. Just sing it Summerwriter and all will be well.

I was just thinking the same thing. Even seeing Orleenz in print puts my teeth on edge and makes me cringe. I think that's a pretty common reaction for natives; I wonder why that is?
