Looking for Moving- Buddies to New Orleans (home, living in)

Hi all! I'm a 23 year old Psych Tech looking to move to New Orleans sometime next year (preferably sometime in the middle or end of the year, I'm flexible) and I would love to find someone else that wants to adventure with me. I've moved around by myself, and with a friend before and it was way less stressful with someone else along for the ride. I would prefer another female but it's whatever.

Ah, to be young. I'm not trying to kill your buzz, but don't count on someone you don't know when you're moving to a new city. I've had friends that I thought would stick with me to the end that left me in some bad situations when I was younger. If you can't do it on your own, don't do it... Advice from an older guy who has done it the hard way.

I moved to China and met up with some friends online, I think I can manage one state away from my home state. I can do it on my own, it's just more fun with other people.

Sorry, I didn't mean to offend. I've just never heard of looking for someone online to move to another state with. Maybe that's normal now.

I have a daughter that is your age, and she is always rolling her eyes at me. I guess it's just the parent in me coming out. Do your thing. I'm sure you'll be fine.

That sounds like quite the adventure indeed, moving to New Orleans, just like that. I don't think a safe place like China prepares you well for living in a city like New Orleans. You are a very courageous person.
