I've watched Irma since before it crossed the Atlantic, and it seems to be resistant to turning. While the forecasters predict it turning (first up the east cost of Fl. then up central Fl, and now the west coast, I suspect it will not turn, or if it turns, only be a few degrees. It is too massive, IMHO.


If I lived in NOLA or coastal areas from the panhandle to Corpus Christi, I would watch very carefully for a turn, and if it doesn't materialize, be ready to beat feet wiki wiki.

Katrina was a warm-up compared to this, if it hits NOLA. Keep your eye on the cone maps, and if it doesn't turn, well, like you said, you know what to do.

Tell u 10 2 4 been thankin the same as u the whole time, mighty big storm to make such a strong curve. Sure hope it doesn't get in da gulf, hope the experts know what there talking bout, be sittin here watching with a full tank of gas ready to bug out if it doesn't. West banker here sittin behind a levee made out of swamp mud living on pumped out swamp land, gota be ready to roll, lol. God Bless u all in Florida. They keep talking about that turn to the North, but it just keeps moving West. I really don't want to see this monster in the gulf.
