Hi Everyone,

I have an interview coming up for working in the ER at Tulane. I am curious if anyone has worked there or knows about the ER. I am trying to get a grasp as to the patient volume and acuity.

Is the ER busy? Is there much trauma? Is there high acuity (Cardiac Arrests, Sepsis, etc)

Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

They get rollover from University and we live in a city with a huge violent crime problem. They get their fair share of GSW and cuttings/stabbings, along with plenty of trauma from auto accidents, overdoses, etc.....
