Hi guys! I'm a 26-year-old female moving to New Orleans in June, and I'm having a hard time choosing between these 2 apartment complexes. It's nerve-wracking moving to this city on my own and not having time to go down and check different areas, so these are the two that are close to my school and fit within my budget. I know I want to live in a complex. Any advice is highly appreciated. Thank you!

Have you ever been here before?

Out of the two I would recommend The Preserve. It's is in a better and safer neighborhood and there's actually places you can walk to. I lived on S Murat St. a few years ago.

Mid-City Pizza is fantastic, Regla Store makes tasty Medianoche sandwiches, plus you'll have 2 good breakfast places all within 3 blocks. Shamrock is a block away. It's like a divey version of Dave and Busters with a much better drink selection and live music.

There's not much around Crescent Club aside from the criminal court, the city jail and bail bondsmen.

Thank you! I actually put down the deposit for The Crescent Club but based on this, I'll go with The Preserve instead.
