If I have a double lot in Orleans Parish with a few houses on it, but only one address can I divide them into two lots with separate addresses legally? Thank you!

You might want to get with a city inspector or a code enforcement to get that answered. Also contact the tax assessor.

OP, that would probably involve submitting a minor subdivision request with the City. Here's a link to the City's Planning and Zoning Department with guidance:

In addition, I would retain the services of a surveyor or civil engineer that can draw up your parcel map showing the lot division.
