The only 'chain' on the street would be Mona's restaurant with a total of 3 locations in this city. Finn's has pool, shuffleboard, darts, fun bartenders, a great jukebox - very dark and always filled with colorful locals of all ages. There's a huge rugby following there as well. After the storm, when they finally opened, they served free drinks and food to the public. It was greatly appreciated to all of us who were rebuilding.
Considering that there's one in Philly, Westhampton Beach, Santa Monmica, Schaumberg, CVhicago, etc., doesn't seem to be too local!

Hi - Just to verify, I emailed the owners since I didn't realize there were other pubs with the same name. They are not a chain and there is no affiliation - they simply share the name. They've got separate websites as well. The one and only Nola Finn's is: Finn McCool's Irish Pub

There should be trademark violations if they were truly stand-alone. I'd bet it is a franchise, locally owned and operated.

A famous person's name can't be copyrighted, and although Finn McCool is a mythological person, I am assuming the same applies.

Not too sure, I've only visited NOLA several times and have never lived there but I wouldn't be surprised if they did have $.25 cent drafts. When I was there this past Mardi Gras cocktails were like $1 or $1.50 and beers about the same. Great place to watch parades in front of too! Open 24/7 and I read it got "Best Dive bar in New Orleans" by some survey.

Thanks Sav; back in the early 90's I think we went there a few times. Speaking of dives anyone ever been to Bud Ripp's? Now that was scary!

Default Barmuda Triangle

Isn't Bud Rip's near or part of the Barmuda Triangle? BJ's, Vaughn's, etc.
How about Saturn Bar? (pronounced by family as Sa-tern)
