I'm going to college in New Orleans in August (Loyola University). Been before and I LOVED it! I'm really excited. Yes there's crime and racism in parts, but where I was the people were so nice! I love the food, music and culture! It's a beautiful and unique town. Count me in also on those that relish the heat and humidity. I love it, and the storms. I just hate all the bugs that come with it. Definitely visit in the summer to see if you can handle this kind of weather.

I hate a negative person like you and most of the posters. No one said that New Orleans is the perfect place....but what city is? Trying to disuade and persuade someone to not move here because you don't like something about it. Yall are something else.
