As do I.
I would love to live uptown when I move, just not too feasible.

Default difference uptown downtown new orleans

Born and raised in new orleans outside
The french quarters in ward 7
But didnt start goin uptown until like
The age of maybe 9 or 10 in late 70s Didnt realize
They had an uptown until visiting friends in holygrove and 10 11 and 12 wards uptown. Clay park. 11 ward. Harrell park 17 ward. But as growing up realized thing were limited uptown rather than downtown for instance high schools they only had like 3 major highschools uptown. Rather downtown you had em all over the place
What about autozone for close to 20 years there was always 1 autozone uptown. In carrollton. But downtown they were everywhere. Im guessing for having a limited amount of necessity. Businesses. Or typical schools kinda had me scratching my head
Uptown u have 3 projects in the same ward. Where as downtown they are spread out in different wards.
Downtown is strictly middle class or poor people whereas uptown you got some of the most wealthiest people in the world mixed with some of the poorest people in the world aint that a trip. Well thats my take on it. Anybody disagree give me a holla
