What is the best time to visit NO? Also what are some must see site there? I do not know anything about NO but want to visit. I also have small kids so I need fun stuff for them too. Thanks

I would say the fall or the spring because it want be as hot as it would in the summer and nowhere near as cold as it is in North LA. As far as the kids, you should check out the Zoo and the Aquarium. The WWII museum is being expanded, but I don't know if it would interest the kids although I'm sure they'll like all the airplanes hanging from the ceiling. You can also take them to City Park and to the museum over there.

Search the forum for "storyland" to see some pictures I posted of this gem at City Park. Also, but more expensive, is the Monkey room, an indoor puffy trampoline-like thing sort of combined with a jungle-gym. It's on tchoupitoulas just up from the Expressway.
