I think he lives in Miami now. He is in the city fairly often. He stays at CP3's apartment (chris paul)

People around New Orleans treat Lil Wayne like a tin god because he is the only halfway decent rapper that has come out of New Orleans and made it nationally in a while. People around here love a "home grown hero". It has nothing to do with his songs or lyrics. If instead of Lil Wayne, some guy from New Orleans got famous by banging pots and pans, EVERYONE would love him too. People just wanna "rep their city"
