is their any areas in the n.o where creoles live predominantly or are they fully integrated with african americans?

It's been my experience to observe that the "Creoles" choose to self-segregate.

Years ago a guy I met told me he was Creole when I'd been thinking that
he had some Arabic ancestry. He went on to say that when, after mandated integration, the Whites left his local catholic church the Creoles automatically moved up to the front pews. Apparently with the full consent of the whole congregation.

Trust me when I say that there are plenty of Creoles of all colors, etc. in SELA. It's just that fair skinned creoles of color have become socially accepted as the definition of creole as if it's a race or ethnicity vs. a culture. There are a lot of social and political reasons behind that, but I'm mobile and It's too much to type.
