Post your favorite place in New Orleans, and put a picture as well if you prefer.

From my little experience in this city. My favorite place is Pirates Alley, I remember going in between a church and another building at night time when I visited. It is one of my favorite memories in general, not sure why I took to the street so well. It was just.. WOW.

I love going through the impromptu art gallery on the side of Jackson Square, to Cafe Du Monde, the FRench MArket, and to City Park. Also the Riverwalk is usually pretty interesting.

I love Pirate's Alley as well. I also enjoy the Lakefront and Audubon Park.

That "church" is St Louis Cathedral where many generations of New Orleanians were baptized, confirmed, married and from where many were sent off to the cemeteries.

It looms large in our history and made me want to become a Catholic; I was six or seven and had seen friends in their first communion finery there and I really, really wanted one of those pretty white dresses and a veil...wow.

Since my mean old Presbyterian Father refused my request I ran off to Pirates Alley and cried and threw a hissy fit. C'est la vie.
