A sad post-script to hear Rocky died after a fall today. At 94, I guess he had a long innings.

RIP Rocky
I was just asking about him the other day and Da Blanchie said he had just gotten out of the hospital. He was like a grumpy grandpa. He had the biggest heart and would lend money to people he barely knew. He even helped us out a time or two back in our younger and leaner days. I'm going to miss him something terrible.

Y'know we love stuff that isn't all squeaky clean and shiny. I love the local un-touristy places..those 'upper-end' restaurants, you can find 'em anywhere...give me character and good ol' NOLA fixin's!
