We're moving to New Orleans in the spring and are considering moving to any of these given neighborhoods. Anyone have any experience or recommends pro's and con's of each neighborhood? We are early 30's progressive kinda guys. Thanks for the help!

Treme was once a thriving neighborhood but it is now a ghetto. There are initiatives to revitalize the area, but that's something I recommend you examine after you have gotten used to life in the city. Bywater is marginal, but for guys, I wouln't worry as long as you are careful. Marigny is the safest out of the three. It is the center of gay/lesbian cutlure in New Orleans, but everyone is welcomed.

Thanks for the info, MetroBTR. We appreciate it! Sounds like Marigny would be our cup of tea.
