Friends may be moving to NOLA and would like to lease or purchase in the area around Magazine Street. It will just be two adults and a dog, so no concern about schools or children interest.

Could anyone recommend a good realtor, who represents properties in that area?

Any recommendations need to be sent to the OP by DM (direct message). Realtors aren't allowed to advertise or be advertised on the forum.
Thanks.

I wasn't asking for a realtor to respond or advertise. I wanted recommendations from someone who had dealt with a quality, honest, truthful realtor or leasing agent. Thanks Len-NJ.

Posting recommendations of realtors aren't allowed, per TOS. These must be sent as DMs.
From TOS:
" The only area where recommendations are not permitted is real estate, however general responses, such as "we have many helpful and knowledgeable real estate agents on this forum - just DM them" are fine."

I can help you out. I know of a good realtor in the New Orleans area but I don't want to post her information on this site. E-mail me at busta.duke@gmail.com and I will give you her information.

Tell you friends to be careful with that area because one block off of Magazine St. can be either good or bad.

Also this realtor doesn't do leases, she only does sales and listings, so if they are looking to lease she can't help them, but she is good at what she does and will go out of her way to find your friends a home.

I live a block and a half off of Magazine on the river side, and its great. Two blocks off is pretty iffy. Three blocks off is often downright dangerous.

I'll DM you the contact info for the agent from whom we bought our house. She's wonderful; I highly recommend her. If your friends would like any info about living in this area, I'd be happy to help them.
