Anyone know if NOPD is still hiring? If so, is it difficult to get on? I am actually an officer in a large metro dept. in another state.

Surrounding areas . Baton Rouge City Police , Jefferson Parish Sheriff , Ascension Parish Sheriff , a couple of others .
I'm sure there are some good cops in that department , but their leadership has sucked big time .

Warren Reily is out soon.
There are a lot of new cops in the NOPD, mostly younger guys, many ex military....

They aren't nearly as bad as they once were, and there are quite a number of good guys there.
