read that they have a new bike path- Wisner bike path opens today | New Orleans Metro Real Time News - - NOLA.com

think this would be safe to ride at night?

it doesn't look too strenous

also read the park has new tennis center. how long is the wait to get a court?

I've ridden through there only during the day. I don't think I'd ride or walk through any park, anywhere in the world, at night. Mind you, at least on a bike you have a chance for a faster getaway if you get in trouble. Unless of course your attacker is on a bike also. Y'know...like one of those...'biker gangs'.
But seriously? I wouldnt be going in to any park at night.

The City Park area should be "relatively" safe. As always take precautions, that you would take anywhere else. The Park is usually full of people (especially the ends close to the river between Delgado and the Museum) well into the late afternoon, but I haven't been by there at night in a while.
