I don't know how really tall people cope.

Road trip! Yeah!
Me 6'2" - how do I cope? Very painfully and pray I don't get q leg cramp

My partner can relate, ArkansasSlim. He's 6'3. Luckily you can now book exit row seats with Qantas for the really long flights (Syd-LAX). Costs, but if your limbs are intact and functioning at the other end, it's priceless!

They just changed their policy and now do accept them,...the space they have to fit in is quite small....what breed do you have and how many pounds?

Southwest doesn't allow even small dogs in the cabin.

On Southwest the space for dogs is VERY small, my Maltese is only 12-13 lbs and I tired her in the maximum size bag they allow and she was too long for it and was not happy at all. They will deny you entry on to the plane if they don't think your dog is comfortable so check it out carefully.

They wouldnt let you have her on your lap? The guy sitting in front of me on my SW flight just had his dog on his lap. Dont know what kind it was, but it wasn't your grass-roots Rottweiler, I know that much!
