There's one way out in Metairie that I used to love and still go to when visiting. It's on Veteran's Blvd, in the back of a strip shopping center, just before you get to Power Blvd. I am blanking on the name, senior moment. It si great!

Mr. Food recommended one that's right around Canal and Carrollton, and it was great. Don't know if it's still there, and don't remember its name either. Haven't been there since before Katrina.
