Winston looked good because the Saints' defense has not showed up to play. If the Saints continue to lose games with a shoddy defense, they will need to address Rob Ryan's future sooner than the end of the season.

We won't. I've seen this too many times with the Saints. Growing up, I forced myself not to be optimistic with this team because they eventually let me down. The 2009 season was the exception. Drew is playing hurt, the o-line doesn't look strong, our group of WRs aren't good as a whole like years past, and the defense is still suspect. Nothing I've seen so far from the past two games says that we'll turn this around.

How will the Saints fare against the Panthers this week?

^Seeing as how Brees will most likely miss several games because of his injury, likely not well.

One of these days, our beloved Payton will get the boot.

Could that occur after Rob Ryan gets the boot?

The Panthers' defense will receive a boost when Luke Kuechly returns against the Saints after completing concussion protocol.

I don't think he is playing, but I don't think it will make much difference. I'm not expecting a Saints win, but I hope we can see some improvements each week... yeah, I'm feeling a little negative today... maybe it's the rain.

Yeah probably so.

First drive looks great! Hope this is a sign for the rest of the game.
