Joe Vitt, Assistant Head Coach/Linebackers Coach; Greg McMahon, Special Teams Coordinator; Stan Kwan, Assistant Special Teams Coach; Bill Johnson, Defensive Line Coach; and James Willis, Defensive Assistant/Linebackers Coach, have been dismissed from the Saints.

I wonder when general manager Mickey Loomis and head coach Sean Payton will be dismissed.

^ They're both safe as long as Tom Benson is still in charge. Kinda hate to see Vitt go like this though. He took a chance on the Saints along with Payton in coming here in 2006 and it paid off.

Mickey Loomis will never go anywhere as long as Benson is in the picture. If you noticed when all that ownership stuff was going on with his grandchildren, Mickey Loomis was named specifically in the plan for the future when Benson is gone. I don't think there has ever been a GM with such job security.

If Loomis is going nowhere, the Saints will be bottom dwelling in the cellar of the NFC South for years.

Yea so count me surprised that no one here has expressed their excitement about AP yet...I personally think he's a great piece to add to our offense!

If he is half the player he used to be I'll be happy. It seems like Ingram always runs harder with some good competition also.

It will be interesting to see how he fits into the offense.
