I don't think there is any question that this city can support a NFL team. I've just heard many people saying that if the daughter and granddaughter get the team they would try to move it to Texas. Hopefully those people don't know what they are talking about.

...this would never happen. The Saints are too big a part of the culture here.

I'm sure you're right. Even if they wanted to move them, I don't think the NFL would let them. Plus, they are a very successful team here, win or lose. Who knows how they would do in Cowboy country?

That's why he's in court now, to take their heir away, right?

They'd probably do like the Texans. Take a while to get fans but Texas is football crazy so they'd eventually gain a viable fanbase.

From what I understand, if they find him incompetent, he can't take anything away from them. I could be wrong though. It's hard to imagine this city without the Saints, but I'm with Chilly, I don't think that would ever happen.

I don't think they will find him incompetent at all.

This the Leblancs' "home run" try. If he's found incompetent, then the question of whether his replacement of assets in the (irrevocable) trust is for value is moot.

This has got to be tough on him at that age. He should be enjoying what he has worked for all his life at this point. It's a shame to have to spend the last part of your life fighting the people you love.

To be honest, I'm feeling good about this year. Peyton is still the boss. We still have Brees, and our defense looks improved. What more could you ask for?
