Think about how good the defense played against Atlanta, and then fast forward to this. It makes no sense. This team has no consistency, and hasn't had it in the last couple years. It's not just the young guys. Brandon Browner is horrible, and Byrd is finally on the field, but you wouldn't know it. What happened to that ballhawk in Buffalo?

I'm slowly getting on that "Fire Rob Ryan" bandwagon. Bottom line is we don't stand a chance at the playoffs with a defense that gives up this many yards.

Brees is the only thing going for the team at all.

Brees should be on his 3rd or 4th ring by now, with even a consistently decent defense.

That bandwagon should be going in high speed. The Saints' defense did not show up to play against the Redskins today.

A few weeks ago, I thought we might be getting on track.
It was realistic to dream of being 6 - 4 at the bye.
The last two games were truly embarrassing.

I predicted this could happen sooner than later. It happened yesterday.

Rob Ryan has been fired by the Saints. Dennis Allen takes over as defensive coordinator.
