Add me to the list of someone looking for a copy too.
Fuugggedt about it! You couldn't get a T-P right now if you offered to trade it for super bowl tickets (well, maybe that would work ). You can't find one for sale anywhere in the city.

Your best bet is to read the articles on nola.com and then order the front page poster(s) on nola.com as a keepsake.

Ah, THAT explains why the newspaper didn't print as many copies of the paper as one would expect. I wish the cover of the book was the poster, though. Thanks for the link!

Congrats from Chicago. This will be another rare Super Bowl where I equally like both teams, a la the 2007 Super Bowl where I didn't pull for either Colts or the Bears. (also doesn't help that the Bears GM, and top ownership brass(i.e. president, etc.) is FUBAR, and doesn't do ANYTHING to make our team competitive in the NFL. thus, why I adopted the Colts as my new fav NFL team to root for during the '09 season, other than when they played against the Bears)

Wish some entrepreneur/several owners could emerge and purchase the Bears, just like what occurred with the Chicago Cubs.... (stating this as an example. for the record, I'm a lifelong White Sox fan, despite growing up in Cubs territory, and don't care what others think)

$25 is highway robbery, IMO. Come on, somebody has to have a subscription to the T-P, and would just throw out their copy anyway!

Tossing out the front page after waiting what amounts to a LIFE TIME for some fans? Not hardly.

LOL, not anyone I know. I tried to buy extra copies this morning and there was nothing left and I checked three different stores. I'm hoping to frame my copy, and we were lucky to get that one.

On a side note, I went to the cemetery today to put a little black & gold something on the family tomb and was glad to see that I wasn't the only one leaving a little something for those who could not be here to enjoy the end of a 42 year wait. There were plenty of yellow flowers with black ribbons and fleur de lis symbols and even some flags.

I sure hope T-P is planning an extra jumbo size print run for Feb 7. Maybe some nice person could save me a copy?
