You would have thought it was the 4th of July around here! Fire works going off all around in all the neighborhoods, you could hear the "WAHOOOOOOO!" and yelling and I am outside Baton Rouge. The whole state is celebrating!

Haha, as well they should! I haven't been so excited for a Superbowl game since the Rams went up against the Patriots eight or nine years ago. Only this game ended the way I actually wanted, lol.

YOU DESERVE THIS, a great team for a great city and a great state. Don't stop partying until the fireworks are heard over every bayou in the state of Louisiana!

Carry it on till Mardi Gras!

My hearty congrats to the Big Easy! Between the Super Bowl win and the upcoming Mardi Gras you folks have double reason to party ( wish the hubby and I can come down in 2010 to share in your joy but within the next few years we plan to visit). With the Katrina disaster in 2005 you certainly need the uplifting but of course it cannot replace the loved ones that were lost. God go with you.

They are saying on the news that this win will put Katrina behind us so we can move forward. We will be remembered as the ones that won the Super Bowl instead of Katrina which will put Louisiana in a more positive light.

Growing up in New Orleans Peyton Manning used to dream about
throwing the winning touchdown for the Saints in the Super Bowl.
And on Sunday he did!
