A group of us will be in New Orleans this Saturday... where is a good place to park. We don't mind walking or paying as long as it's safe.

Last year we had no idea what to do and found a parking spot really close to the French Quarter... lucky? After the trip we went back and researched where we had parked... It was on the corner of Treme and Iberville St. Not so great. Was this a dangerous street corner?

Anyways, the important question... where should we park this year?

Thank you in advance

We've never had any trouble using the lots along the river. You might want to get there early to make sure you get one of those spots. There are also some parking decks around town but I've never used them. I'm in limbo between Atlanta and New Orleans at the moment, and I'm still learning the city, but I'm pretty sure you don't want to be at Treme and Iberville...
