I visited New Orleans a couple years ago and feel in love with the place and have been trying to get my husband to take a trip down there with me but he is not at all interested. He loves being outdoors and hunting and playing golf. With thatbeing said does anyone have any suggestions on places we could visit or things we could do to help him see why I love that place so much?

There are swamp tours and that sort of thing. I don't know about golf or hunting, personally, but I'm sure it exists here ;-) There's also the WWII Museum...

I don't blame your husband . New Orleans isn't for everybody . It's about to get too hot and humid for outdoor activities like golf , etc.

Well, the license plate reads "Sportsmans Paradise" so hopefully it'll live up to that. Just go 'head and buy the airline tickets for a 'surprise' vacation. Take him to the Columns, after a few Sazeracs he won't care where he is!

Are they still holding the Zurich Open Pro Golf Tournament in New Orleans. Try to get tickets. That should motivate him toward the city.

Tell him to stay home if he doesn't get it. The food alone is worth the trip.

If you have to convince someone of a no brainer, well... it may be futile.
