My friends who have gotten picked for other ones have said different things..1 said she was accepted on the spot at the interview & they took her to see the apartment that same day. Another said it took them a while to approve her application so she ended up waiting like 2 months btwn her first interview and them telling her she got it. I guess it depends on your situation: if you bring all the right documentation to the interview and your credit and everything is good & checks out, then it will probably go faster for you. If you have inconsistencies on your record & stuff then it will most likely take longer. I have no idea if it's by phone or by mail I've heard so many different things about that..some ppl even say email, so just make sure you keep all lines open lol.
I think the best thing you can do is make sure you have everything you need beforehand, you don't wanna get to the interview and you are missing smthg they ask for, so they tell you to send it in later, that will only make the process longer. Being prepared will never hurt your chances ;-)
