I had an interview today. Log number in the low 2000s. I am a municipal employee but wasn't at the time of application so my application log number has NP for no preference after it. The woman who did my interview said it will take about two months for them to get back to me. If they have questions on my application they will call. If not it will get sent to someone else (City/State related-I forgot). If that is all good they said I would be signing a lease or getting a rejection letter.

When I first got the request for an interview I was trying to tell myself not to get my hopes up. After the interview though I am so excited by the prospect of living here I can't think about anything else. Hopefully my income fits the requirements.

For those who were already selected...
-Does the building still seem like it has units left for rent? Two bedroom is my preference (I have a partner who applied with me) but we could also do a one bedroom.
-What are the fees for extra amenities?
-Is there a bike storage room?
-What are the apartments like? I've tried to find pictures online but I'm not sure if they are for the subsidized or market value housing.

I hate waiting!!! I'm eagerly following everyone's posts.
What do you think my chances are?

Congrats on the interview. I know this waiting period is extremely hard. I don't think it hurts to call and see if they are processing your application yet, though we found them fairly non responsive until they were working on our app. But once they do they are good about asking for things and responding. It's hard to say your chances but if you and the other adult fit into the income bracket, have ALL the paperwork, and good credit you will likely get it.

I do think you are more likely a one bed than a 2. It's seems they reserved those for 3 or more people but you might get lucky. The layouts are all different but you can get a general idea from the layouts they show on the website. It seems like the market apts are a few sq ft larger but not by much.

There is a bike storage room but I don't know the cost. They haven't told us the cost of what things will be unless you want a storage unit. The company that does the building management is different from Wynn.

Good luck. I hope you hear soon!

Thanks Brooklynmbs1106. They called us for a bit more paperwork yesterday which we sent in right away. I hope they process the rest of our application quickly and that we'll get an apt. I'll keep you posted.

Meanwhile, if anyone has any more info to share that'd be amazing!

Did they change your status to municipal employee? I have also been waiting for a response after my interview.

I don't think so. What is your log number (ish) and preference? When was your interview?

I had my interview on August 8th. Log # low 3k with and ME preference and still waiting. They did manage to ask for more information for two weeks after our interview. I'm in for a 2 bed.

Hmmm. Maybe they are done with municipal employees and your log number will come up in numerical order. Perhaps that is why they haven't let you know yet. I'm still waiting too. Keep us posted!

Congrats!!
I am still waiting. Haven't gotten any information yet. Did you get a 1 or 2 bed? I know you said you can do either way before.
