Hello

I applied for Coop in NYC in Nov 2016. Just got a letter with a log no # 9X. Can anyone share their experience and how long can it take for 4 bedrooms?

What's the name of the building or development? Each one is different.

4 bedroom?? 4 ??? You should get a call in maybe 10 or 15 years. 4 bedrooms are extremely rare.

Depends on the amount of vacancies in the development, the amount of applicants on the waiting list, and how long the state or city takes to process your paperwork, because there are state MLs and city MLs

Four bedrooms will take you quite a while. I think most ML complexes don't even have apartments that big.

I hope you know that a 4 bedroom apartment will only be assigned to a household of 6, 7 or 8 people.

Factoid:
Lincoln Amsterdam opened its four bedroom waiting list on October 13, 2016

Thank you all for your response.

Its Lincoln Amsterdam- upper west side.

Yes - I have a large family size.

I hope it not that long. what if my income changes during this period? and how can I find out the wait time. This is my first experience.

You should apply for three bedrooms in developments that don't have 4 bedrooms, while you wait. Also if you go to Mitchell lama connect and to the HCR Mitchell lama site you should be able to see what developments have 4 bedrooms. Also try applying for NYCHA. A lot of people don't know this by NYCHA has 4, 5, 6, and even 7 bedroom apartments. I once was visiting someone who had a 6 bedroom It was like a mansion
