Anyhow, the bestest of luck to you!! Thanks..
Thanks. I have an interview by March 30. There are so many papers/copies they requested. They will do the credit check. I just little worried because I don't have a car.

It sounds like it. The lottery only closed little over month ago, and they're already in tenant selection.

It looks like they're moving quickly. They started tenant selection process a month after deadline.

Yes ive heard they ask for a million copies of everything, but as long as you have the right income without going over or below, you are in. I wouldnt worry about not having a car, im sure there are ways to getting to the train rather than citi-bike or walking, im just not completely familiar with it. Probably a bus around. The credit thing is what scares me, I dont have great credit at all, mostly student loans, and past cable bills I never covered. But we shall see, and hope for the best.
Again my bestest of luck to you!!!

Thanks. The student loans - don't be worry about. They will check on late payments, debit to your income ratio, landlord evictions and so on.

Today had an interview. It's took very fast - about 20 minutes. They check all the papers, I signed many papers/ not that SO many. The building is NONSmoke in/out on premisses, NO PETS allowed, they expecting the end of construction at summer/but AS Always : Who knows? They will check everything in about 30 days/ let's us know by then. Now they processing preferences. I asked about the blue prints/floor plans of apartments, square foottage. They don't have that information, explaining of because the building is not finished yet.

Cool First time called

So....after years and years of applying to AH, I finally got emailed for this housing lottery. My number was in the 500s and I have an interview that I scheduled within a few days. I am really nervous but hoping everything goes well. I have a steady and great job and qualify for studio or 1bdm. My only concern is my income, Although my income changed to literally about $300 more a year since applying. i still fall under the income limit.....but I also have my insurances and transportation taken out my check. Not sure if that will cause an issue, i never work overtime and my paychecks are very steady. My credit is good, i have one debt that went into collection which is under $600 and credit score above 700. I love the area as it is up and coming and right over LIC area....please let me know if anyone has any feedback or advice on my situation.

Thank you and goodluck to all of you!

You will regret not having a car in Greenpoint area, the subways are slow in the area and with the lack of supermarkets and major stores you'll be spending a lot on taxis and Uber service.

I'm going to use access-o-ride car, in case I will get this apartment. Same price as at the subway or buses for people who coud not use public transportation.
