just wondering when you got the email for an interview? i got mine monday and replied tuesday. still waiting to hear back.
i also want to know what units they have left. when i originally applied my income was in one of their criterias, but now has changed, however i still fit into the criteria for another unit there.
Hi everyone! I just signed up as I also received an email about being selected for this building. My number is 5xx, very low (honestly completely forgot I even applied for this building). I showed up and turns out I wasn't interviewing - it was a meeting where they tell you what additional paperwork they want on top of everything you have to bring already.
I was there for over an hour and at the end was denied on the spot because apparently I haven't been doing the same job for two full years (I'm up to a year and a half). How is that a requirement, is beyond me. Not only that, I never received an official letter that states their reason either.
Feeling a little defeated and annoyed, and with such a low log number it's even more frustrating.
That's definitely not a requirement. I'm not in this lottery but I just started a new job September 2016 and I was approved on the spot. You can definitely appeal - I suggest to HDP/ HDC themselves if the people that interviewed you are giving you trouble. Do this asap.
As long as you can pay your rent, I don't see how they can deny you because you don't make 2 years at your job- total bs if you ask me. And if that was a requirement, they should state that on the website or before they ask you to interview so people won't waste their time.
