I think these buildings are beautiful. For some reason they remind me of the X-chromosome.

I'm qualified for either 1 bedroom or studio, I'd be happy with either, I submitted the last forms, and now waiting for the transfer to HPD.

Ugh apparently I am still pending HPD approval according to BG I signed off for my file to be sent to them on 11.6 , I am hoping it is because of the holidays that everything is taking forever.

I called HPD again yesterday and they told me they would call me back to verify that my file was with them.

Im so over this process!! but I guess I have to remain optimistic right?!

I have a log # in double digits. Had my interview with BG on oct 20. Was rejected on nov 8th. Won my appeal with HPD last week. Emailed BG today asking what is going on. BG called me to say that they have been told by HPD that they have re-review all their community board applicants and that I shouldn't expect to hear anything for awhile...WTF??

BG has been horrendous to me the entire time. My intake specialist was vague and hard to get a hold of. Was very unhelpful the entire time and obviously the reason I was initially rejected. I was pysched when HPD overturned their rejection, but now have no idea what the process is from here...

Was told by HPD and BG that they are not filling general population yet. That BG couldn't finish off the community board group and is getting audited

Getting audited, OMG. Why does that not surprise me? Still, you have a very low number, CB or no CB, and you'll likely prevail, even though it's going to take months, maybe until June (the East Tower isn't even open yet). At least BG called you and gave you specific info. But we all feel your pain.

I have a young friend who was called by BG for Copper and denied because his income was too low (based just on the amount he had put on the application). He was given the opportunity to appeal but for some reason didn't do it. I'm wondering if he would get another chance now. He has community board preference. That would be great for him! I guess he'll have to wait and see if he gets called again.
