I am so glad I found is forum. BG called me in for an interview back in September. My file was complete and passed the first stage. It then went to the leasing specialist, and passed and then on to compliance, where it passed once again. Once compliance approved my file, they called me in to sign more documents that listed the apartment number and I was able to see the unit within the same week. BG has sent my file to HPD mid November and still no update. I called HPD today and they informed me that they still have not moved on to the General Population and that my file is just on hold in the office. My log number for general pop was pretty low 6**. I'm praying everything gets approved and I am able to move in within the next few months. God Willing!
I signed papers in December with a apartment number on it but i never got called to see the apartment and it’s been almost 2 months. I’m also low in general pop 1**. Hope they’ll call me soon because everyone already saw their apartment.
I have no idea what type of order BG is going in my log # is 7xx and I saw my apt the week after I signed off for my file to be sent to HPD.
I honestly wish another agency was handling American Copper other ppl have had such easy expierences with other agencies.
Its like why do I have to essentially put my near future plans and career growth on hold for an affordable housing apt like its an amazing building an apt but it should not take this long to move in/ get a decision.
BG is legit ridiculous, like whats the point of reaching out to us and giving us false like we are going to be moving in soon when they just still haven't finished what they need to finish.
Now its a long ass waiting game for us, this building is a wonderful opportunity but it really sucks BG is in charge of it, at this point i dont care if i get it or not lol

yeah exactly, I called BG this morning they said they haven't sent the general population files yet because they are waiting for the developers to give the okay so that they can go on and send it over to the city.
