I have an interview Tuesday for crossroads II. I've been living with relatives for 3years. Made 39100 last year. Looking for a 2br for my son and I. Any tips for what my bank accounts need to look like? Also I'm still married but Separated from my ex-husband. Will that matter? I just spent the last few hours reading your posts didn't see much on that.
Bank accounts need to be kept "clean."
Meaning no excessive or abnormal deposits. Any deposit that doesn't have your company logo on it will cause some trouble, especially if there are a lot of them. Just make note if some of those deposits may be child support payments. Probably will have to get them notarized. As long as you are within income guidelines, you'll be okay.
I had one large $1,000 deposit (casino winning) that didn't fall off my record when I was applying for Brook Avenue. They didn't even bother, most likely because it was just a one time thing. Or maybe they were just having a hard time finding a good candidate and didn't want to give me a hard time? Who knows? Either way, the deposit didn't put me over the bracket anyway.
All they care about is who is moving in to the apartment, and the income flow / credit of the head of household on the application; nothing more, nothing less, in your specific case.
So after monitoring this forum and the one for 3160 park I've finally registered so I could chime in and ask a a question as well. I've been on an emotional roller coaster with the prospective tenants and their journeys. I've found it all very informative. Thanks to everyone for sharing. Anyone who has viewed or is a tenant of 500 Union should be able to answer my question. Do the windows have limited opening? I mean like a normal window opens upward, maybe even sideways but it be opened to allow fresh air in. Are the windows designed to limit that option there?

Okay, I just was questioning whether they were doing this in multiple buildings. Has anyone figured out how-to prevent bugs and such from coming in with the ones that open inward that don't have screens.
Im the only adult in my family of 4 (adults) thats employed. the rest have no income. will that be an issue?
As long as your income meets the requirements for the apartment you should be fine.
Example: Let's say a family of 4 must make between $38,500 - $51,350 for the household. If you're the only one that's bringing in income, it will be easier for you in terms of getting approved, but tougher for you since you are the sole provider.
hi, I've been going through the application process since MARCH, but i'm realizing when i lost my job back in SEPT my credit took a beating. I wanna be hopeful but after reading some of these, know i didn't get it.
Has anyone gotten the apartment even with a not so good credit score?
