I had the great luck of being called in for interviews on two separate lotteries on the same day, after years of applying. I had my appointment for the second lottery the other day and I have to say it was much better experience than the interview I did for Reside which felt more like a nightmare DMV situation. Clinton Management's interview was much more personal, friendly, and seemed more like it might really happen. Was told to expect to hear within a few weeks and that it wasn't just an interview to be on a waiting list—I've been in line for this one almost three years. Sounds promising, but I'm playing it cool.

I'm curious if anyone has gone through the process of landing one of these apartments but here's a couple of my impressions:

It seems this development is split into different buildings with market rate getting their own building and two smaller housing lottery buildings down the block a ways. Its vibe is less 'waterfront' and more 'on a quiet block across from a CVS'. It's not a doorman building, nor does it seem to have many amenities or a particularly nice finish. The interview for a studio/1 bed was conducted in a two bed as to facilitate multiple concurrent interviews and the 2 bed wasn't particularly spacious. It was clean and not old, the hallways were nondescript and hotel like. My hopes for a luxury studio are not high.

Nevertheless I'm grateful for the opportunity. I was told there were more studios available and that if I qualify I have a really good chance of landing one. 1 bedrooms are less likely to be available but I'd have my pick if the stars align.

So... any winners on deck?

Hey, how did it go? I'm in the same boat as you were in and I'm doing some research and came across this thread. Did you end up getting it and what are the insides like of the apartments.
