There’s a new development on Surf Avenue called Surf Vets. It is for homeless veterans.

Why does it need to be Manhattan? Why can't it be SI or NJ where one's check will go farther. Keep in mind for every person that's subsidized to be in a place like Manhattan or Brooklyn that money could house 3-4 families somewhere decent like Dallas or Columbus. That's misallocation bordering on malfeasance.

As an aside, do you have any interest, talent, or ambition to go into business?

New York State is pushing for contracts to be awarded to firms owned by service-disabled veterans, and there simply aren't enough to meet the set goals. Make money, and then you can afford New York.
