I’m currently in the middle of the application process. Awaiting background check. Regarding credit checks, are building management companies using FICO credit scores. I checked my credit report and found out that the building management requested transunion report which doesnt use FICO scores. I’m just curious since my FICO scores are stronger than the Transunion scores. Don’t they also have to pull experian and equifax scores?

Yes it's VantageScore which those free services use. FICO is different.

Generally you'd want to be 720+. 760 is optimal for loans/apr/approval but higher only gives you more wiggle room in case there's a dip.

Try to get your utilization to 7% and definitely below 30%. Utilization is the % of your total credit that you're currently using. If you're above 30% you can potentially squeeze 7-20 points to your credit score. Either pay off some of the cards or ask for an increase in your limit.
