People never cease to amaze me.
These are the people who think they entitled to everything when they are not. We are living in a world with lot of selfish act. The fact that OP even think about having the second affordable unit and rent it out shows how greedy he or she is.

This is simply sad.

If you can afford to pay two rents for two affordables, you do not qualify for neither one. You cheated on disclosing your full income

Fairly and if you can afford both then you don't need a "lottery" apartment

You cannot "win" two subsidized apartments "fairly."

Suppose you are currently living in a lottery unit and you are approved for different lottery. How do you get out of your current lottery lease?

Same way any other RS or market rate tenant does; ask LL to release. Though think that new RS law made some changes such as a LL must work a bit harder to find a new tenant, but bottom line is you signed a legally binding contract. All tenants are responsible for ENTIRE rent for duration of lease, end of story.

You can be evicted for non-payment and still be liable for balance of rent in some instances.
